1. Melt the flow quickly

The basic conditions for rapid melting of furnace charge are reasonable charging, timely addition of surplus charge, high-power power heating and reduction of heat loss from furnace mouth.

2. Ensure desulfurization of liquid steel

Dealkalization of slag with high basicity and low basicity during melting period is an important desulfurization method in induction furnace. Therefore, there should be enough low slag to cover the molten steel surface, and there should be enough Cao in the slag to ensure its desulfurization effect.

3. Reduce the oxidation of alloy elements

During the melting process, the alloy elements react with oxygen in the atmosphere. In order to reduce the oxidation, the first step is to make a good covering slag, and the second step is to add deoxidizer to the slag layer after the formation of the molten pool. Especially when there is a large amount of return material in the charge, the reduction operation should be strengthened.
