With the rapid development of induction furnace technology, its conversion efficiency has gradually increased to 96 ~ 97% of the current, its operation safety has fully met the needs of production, but the investment cost of induction furnace has been lower than the power frequency power supply year by year. Considering the many advantages of induction furnace in use, induction furnace has been developed in Europe and the United States since the late 1980s The country has been widely used, basically replacing the traditional power frequency induction furnace. Since the mid-1990s, with the rapid development of electronic technology in China, the high-power domestic Yifei induction furnace has been successfully developed, produced and applied. Therefore, the traditional power frequency induction furnace has gradually disappeared from the market in our country, and the existing power frequency induction furnace in the foundry is gradually replaced by the induction melting furnace in the technical transformation. Due to the advantages of low cost, convenient control, small footprint, and being able to connect with computer control and management system, even the traditional power supply of induction furnace with industrial frequency (50 Hz) has been replaced by Yifei induction furnace (output 50 ~ 200 Hz) abroad since the mid-1990s. The first cored induction furnace (50 Hz) in China came out last year. The furnace is also equipped with a computer-based automatic control and management system for melting process. The furnace condition, lining sintering, power input and melting temperature can be fully controlled and detected.
