The oxidation burning loss of induction heating forgings is only 0.5%, the oxidation burning loss of gas furnace heating is 2%, and the coal furnace heating is 3%. The induction heating process saves materials. Compared with the coal furnace, each ton of forgings can save at least 20-50 kg of steel raw materials. Its material utilization rate can reach 95%. Because the heating mode is uniform and the temperature difference between the core and surface is very small, the service life of the forging die is also greatly increased in forging. The roughness of the forging surface is also less than 50um process energy saving. Induction heating can save 31.5%~54.3% of the energy for specific gravity oil heating, which is 5%~40% less than that for gas heating.
